Storm clouds in the Rocky Mountains are awe-inspiring.
The clouds build up to form staggering columns—an ethereal myriad of contrasting highlights and shadows form.
At this altitude, the cloud formations are up close and personal. From my mountain aerie on Pikes Peak, I felt like I could almost reach out and touch them.
Once more I am humbled by the grandeur of mother nature and the incredible vistas at every turn in Colorado.
