When you look at the mountains, it's easy to be overwhelmed with size, drama, and scale. That's the frame of mind I was in when I took this shot as we flew in our helicopter by Marble, Colorado, on the way to the Crystal Mill.

The wonderful thing about photography is that it allows you to snap breathtaking images that become precious memorabilia for years to come.

As I look at this scenic view, I was amazed at the complexity of the light, clouds, sky, and vegetation on the mountain. Focusing on this image can be difficult at first because of how busy it looks—when in reality, it is a representation of what we need to do in everyday life—slow down and enjoy the view.
